Just after the ramps to I-95/US 6/RI 10, we’ll cross the Woonsocket River and approach the Rhode Island state house. US 1 will make another unsigned right turn at the t-intersection.

Location: Gaspee St and Smith St, Providence
On the northeast corner of the capitol grounds, we’ll approach US 44 without signage. Turn right for 1 north/44 east, which concur for a couple blocks. Turn left for US 44 west.
