Route 82 bears north as it passes through Wallowa, a decent sized little town. Route 82 will traverse through a river canyon to get to Elgin from here
Location: Albany St and N 6th Ave, Elgin
Trucks using OR-204 are advised not to follow Route 82 through downtown Elgin but to go around the block and make their left and right turn over here. These signs used to also indicate it was an Ore 82 truck route, but not anymore (probably because it was pointless). Route 82 will go west for a couple more blocks and then turn south, whereas the truck route will turn south and then west, so really trucks are on a different road for about two blocks

Oregon 82 will turn south through Elgin and is about to come up on JCT OR-204

Turn right for OR-204 which heads west over to OR 11 in Elgin
