Montana Secondary Highway 327, US-2 to ND-1804/ND State Line

Location: S-327 and US-2, Roosevelt Cty

As of August 2020, S-327 is completely paved and has been re-routed onto a new road east of Bainville. I drove it so early after opening that there aren’t actually any signs along the route.

Location: S-327 and Rd 2061, Roosevelt Cty

About a mile into the route, we’ll approach the old alignment of 327 to the right. We’ll follow the original 327 routing (now paved!) the rest of the way to North Dakota.

327 passes through some badlands as it nears the North Dakota State Line.

Welcome to North Dakota! S-327 turns into North Dakota 1804, which is one of two discontinuous Lewis and Clark themed routes that generally follow the Missouri River through the Dakotas.
