Montana Highway 88, I-90 to US-12

DISCLAIMER: I’m not really sure if this is Montana 88. The route is in MDT’s logs as N-88 (N-88 runs from I-90 to I-90 along this route and mainline 12), but N- numbers don’t always align with the posted route number. Most/all of the newer posted state highways to the P- and N- systems do have route numbers that align with the internal designation, so that’s where I’m making this jump. Additionally, the 2011 Route Log shows MONT 88 as joining N-88 at this junction, but the route log does have other errors when determining post number. Anyway, that’s my thought process, but there’s a good argument to be made that I am wrong. The other argument here would be to call it US 12 Spur, but there isn’t any evidence to support this. One could also just call it an undesignated state highway. The Montana Department of Revenue Cadastral (gis.mt.gov) lists this as a long off-ramp for I-90. Powell County officially calls it US HIGHWAY 10.
