Reassurance shield missing shield at the beginning of SR 86

AMP: 169

Location: Ajo Way and La Cholla Blvd, Tucson

We’ll get out of Tucson really quickly after the I-19 exit. Two miles later, and here we are with our first reassurance shield

AMP: 153

Location: SR 86 and Sierrita Mountain Rd, Pima Cty

Reassurance shield as we pass through some more non-city of Tucson development. The Kitt Peak Observatory and southern terminus of SR 386 is visible on top of that mountain in the distance. The drive from here to there on SR 86 is a deceptively steep uphill trek

AMP: 151

Location: SR 86 and SR 286, Robles Junction, Pima Cty

Before any of that, though, we’ll approach SR 286 at Robles Junction

AMP: 150

Location: SR 86 and SR 286, Robles Junction, Pima Cty

Stay on SR 86 to get to the town of Ajo. Follow SR 286 south to Sasabe AZ and El Sasabe, Sonora

AMP: 150

Location: SR 86 and SR 286, Robles Junction, Pima Cty

Turn left for SR 286 south towards a very minor border crossing that connects to an isolated dirt road in Mexico. Stay straight for SR 86
