State Route 525, Clinton Ferry Terminal to Mukilteo Ferry Terminal

No mileposts on the ferry terminal stuff, so just enjoy the photographs!

For ferry information, it’s hard to beat this website, and I encourage you to use it for your ferry information needs.

I was driving on this ferry, as opposed ot riding as a passenger, so the pictures will be a mite different. Here you see us load in line onto the ferry. (1)

The vessel this time was the M/V Cathlamet, part of the Issaquah 130 class of ferries (which serve this route and the Vashon/Southworth/Fauntleroy route on SR 160). Among other things, it has two car decks. I got parked on the second level, but at the very end where you are facing downhill. (2)

After boarding the ferry, I realized I should not take pictures of the inside of this vessel as the FBI is currently hot on the tail of people taking pictures of the ferries for potential terrorist purposes, so I kept my shots to the outside. Here are shots from the port and starboard side of the vessel ( 3, 4)

Two more shots as we approach the Mukilteo ferry deck. (5, 6 )
