As we pass SR-264, we’re reminded that trucks need to get on I-40 in Gallup and head west to the Port of Entry

As we enter Gallup, keep right to get on I-40. Keep left to stay on US-491, which will shortly transition to SR-602, which heads to Zuni.
Location: US-491 and Maloney Dr, Gallup
Stay straight to head to I-40. At the next light, turn left for unsigned SR-609, which just parallels I-40 and then crosses it. Not really sure why it’s a state highway.
