US-40 will exit here in a half mile. This is the western terminus of US-40 which heads all the way to Atlantic City, New Jersey

This is the last exit for the touristy area and US-40 runs as an expressway down to Heber City

US-40 exits. US-189 will join the freeway here despite the lack of signage. Utah does not sign US-189 where it runs concurrent with other routes, effectively ending it in Heber City. However, it continues with US-40 and I-80 into Wyoming where it resumes full signage. Because the AAHSTO acknowledges this as the official route of US-189 I will as well.
