There’s a big weigh station at the state line here on top of Ratón Pass, so keep left for what is still technically Interstate Colorado 25

Location: I-25 at the New Mexico State Line, Las Animas Cty

At the top of the pass we’ll cross under our first 1957 spec shield since Wyoming. 25, 85, and 87 all enter New Mexico. I-25 heads to Las Cruces and ends at I-10. US-87 will finally leave I-25 here in a few miles once we get to Ratón and then head over to Texas, and US-85 will follow I-25 to I-10 and then leave New Mexico near El Paso, Texas. It won’t be signed anywhere in New Mexico as it technically no longer exists within the state.
