US-36 will bear left to full enter Arapahoe Cty and tail down to I-70. CR 2 is a pre-1955 alignment of US-36 that avoids Byers and heads straight to Strasburg

As we near Byers, we’ll come to a junction with I-70

Turn right for I-70/US-36/US-40 West and US-287 North towards Denver, turn left for I-70/US-40 East and US-287 South towards Limon. Stay straight and the roadway turns into Colorado SH-36, which follow old US-36 most of the way to Denver. US-36 will use the interstate and won’t be signed again until it continues from I-270 in north Denver
