U.S. Route 285, CO-88 to US-85

Location: US-285 and Santa Fe Dr, Sheridan

Just after the SH-88 junction, we’ll come to a junction with US-85. This will be the only time 285 encounters a signed version of its parent (it also hit US-85 at its southern terminus in Santa Fe, but 85 is completely unsigned and concurrent with I-25 in New Mexico)

Location: US-285 and Santa Fe Dr, Sheridan

A bunch of birds direct us to US-85, which runs as an expressway through these parts. We’ll enter Englewood just after this junction and come to 285’s first stoplight in quite some time.
